Trisha Bennett was invited to Radio Berkshire on Andrew Peach’s Breakfast Show this Friday 13th to discuss how Whitley CDA are supporting local people. The current cost of living crisis is being felt by us all and one of the rising challenges we see is that people are struggling to maintain a balanced and nutritious diet. We often see people on social media talking about how much a bag of pasta or oats cost to try and suggest that people are exaggerating or not being honest when they say they are experiencing food poverty. However, they always miss the point on how hard it is to maintain a balanced and nutritious diet when coping with rising costs of food and energy.
