Participate in nutrition studies at the University of Reading

The University of Reading is internationally recognised for its excellence in research on the relationship between diet and chronic disease. They are currently looking for volunteers to participate in two studies.

ENVAL study: Would you like to test a diet app developed by researchers from the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences? In this study, participants will fill out two online food and drink questionnaires that are 2 weeks apart and take 30 to 40 minutes. A small group will also complete a food diary for 3 days (with kitchen scales provided).

They are looking for adults without food allergies or intolerances, or diabetes, and who are not following a specialised diet (pregnant, vegan, weight-loss, athlete, etc), or receiving dietary advice from a medical professional, dietitian, etc. For further details, please visit eatwelluk.org or email [email protected].

Whey2glo Study: Researchers at the Hugh Sinclair Unit of Human Nutrition are currently investigating how dairy and plant proteins control blood sugar levels and vascular health, and they are looking for participants with above average blood sugar levels for their study.

Volunteers are reimbursed for their time. If you are interested please email [email protected] or call them on 0118 378 7771. Find out more on the Hugh Sinclair Unit Facebook page.
