BBC Berkshire talk to Whitley CDA regarding the impact the increased cost of living is having on our community
Trisha Bennett our Community Development Coordinator was invited to speak with Radio Berkshire about how the cost of living crisis is affecting people in our community. We are witnessing first hand the devastating impact this is having. We are seeing an increase in the number of people using our services and seeking our support. Its important to note that this is not just people who solely rely on benefits – we are noticing a significant increase from people who are in work and not able to claim any in-work benefits.
