Many of you know that the local legends Select Car Leasing donated a van to us for our food surplus project. It’s been absolutely vital and has made our lives so much easier, we were overwhelmed at the generosity. So imagine our surprise when we saw on Good Friday that Select Car Leasing had decided to donate to us again.
They posted on their socials that they would donate £1 to us for every response with a 🐰. Initially they said up to a max of £200. Our notifications went crazy. Every few seconds we were being alerted to more and more replies. We could make a joke about breeding like rabbits…
Very quickly they had over hundreds and hundreds of replies across all their social media and very generously they increased their original cap of £200 to £400. To say we were humbled is to put it mildly.
Thank you Select Car Leasing from all of us at Whitley CDA and thank you from everyone who will benefit from your very generous act. This random act of kindness and community spirited generosity is fantastic.
